Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a division of General Dynamics, seeks a Summer 2027 - Accounting Collegiate Associate Intern in Savannah, GA. You will work on real-world finance tasks, including monthly closes, asset management, and SOX-compliant reporting, while gaining exposure to SAP, BlackLine, and Power BI.

Ideal candidates are pursuing accounting or finance degrees, with strong communication and analytical skills, and a minimum 3.0 GPA. On-site work is required for a 10-week program.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time in an accounting or related degree program (bachelor's or master's).
• Completion of entry-level accounting courses preferred (e.g., Principles of Financial Accounting).
• Strong communication and analytical skills; collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support capital expenditure reviews and fixed asset management activities.
• Assist with statutory audit requests by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Provide financial systems administration support for SAP, BlackLine, and other accounting tools.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.
