Gulfstream Aerospace is offering a Spring 2027 Finance - Tax Collegiate Associate Intern position in Savannah, GA. You will work with the tax team on federal and state tax reporting, including indirect tax filings, and help drive process improvements within a major aerospace company.

The role provides hands-on tax exposure, opportunities to learn from experienced professionals, and networking within the industry. On-site work is required for the duration of the program.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Tax, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded); must be listed on resume.
• Minimum duration: 12–14 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall).
• Must work onsite; this is not a remote position.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of Federal Tax Returns and supporting tax adjustments.
• Assist with the preparation of property tax and sales tax returns.
• Partner with the accounting team to assist in the monthly closing process, including journal entries and account analysis.
• Provide value-added analysis and drive continuous improvement recommendations.
• Perform special projects and ad-hoc management reporting as required.
• Enforce safety rules and procedures and ensure compliance with Gulfstream regulations.

About the position

The Tax Intern position at Gulfstream Aerospace is designed for students pursuing a degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. The intern will work closely with the tax team to assist in various federal and state tax reporting processes, including indirect tax filings, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in Corporate Taxation within a leading aerospace company.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools is preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and demonstrate leadership initiative.
