Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking an Associate to join our Tax practice in the United States. You will support partners and PMDs, coordinate engagement setup, and help manage billing, data analysis, and cross-team collaboration to ensure efficient engagement execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent work experience.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration from an accredited college/university or a minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent data analysis and web-based research skills; effective time and project management skills to ensure the management of multiple projects.
• Demonstrated ability to independently address issues of moderate complexity; ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic support for PMDs serving as a trusted business advisor and single point of contact for management and coordination of all business support and engagement management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for PMDs’ portfolio, conducting detailed data analysis to provide strategic recommendations that drive engagement success and optimize firm revenue.
• Own the billing and reconciliation process for assigned clients, including determining correct bill rates and chargeable hours, and billing based on engagement letters.
• Oversee the strategic set-up and maintenance of engagement opportunities, tailoring processes to meet client needs while executing KPMG’s pricing strategy.
• Develop networks and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients to drive engagement success.
• Coordinate administrative support for PMDs, including calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful work environment.
