Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. is seeking a Tax School Facilitator to teach on-location across multiple cities in Indiana, Ohio, and Texas.

The role involves delivering structured tax education, staying up to date with tax laws, and collaborating with management to align curriculum with training materials. The position requires prior teaching experience and strong communication, presentation, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of prior teaching experience.
• Ability to speak and facilitate a small group (5–10 students).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with computers and basic software.
• Patient, motivating, and student-focused demeanor.
• 6 week course, 6.5 teaching hours per week in office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, structured tax education courses to students of varying experience levels.
• Teach core tax concepts including federal and state income tax preparation, deductions, and credits.
• Facilitate classroom discussions, exercises, and hands-on tax return practice.
• Evaluate student progress through assessments, quizzes, and feedback.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Stay current on IRS tax laws, regulations, and updates to ensure accurate instruction.
• Collaborate with management to align curriculum with Jackson Hewitt standards and training materials.
