Job summary

The Florida Department of Revenue is seeking a Document Screening Specialist (Revenue Specialist II) in the General Tax Administration program's Return and Revenue Processing unit, based in Building L in Tallahassee. The incumbent will prepare and process documents related to tax and remittance payments and research accounts to apply payments for upload into SUNTAX, while tracking statistics and assisting with training.

Working hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• One year of experience researching or updating account information in SUNTAX.
• Six months of experience using Fairfax Imaging Processing System.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process documents related to tax and remittance payments.
• Research tax accounts to apply payments for upload into SUNTAX.
• Gather statistics and assist with training of new employees.
