Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required; Master's in taxation is preferred.
• Current CPA license is required.
• Must be a member in good standing with the American Institute of CPAs.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical tax review and approval of all tax returns and governmental tax examinations of any complexity.
• Serves as a subject matter expert in tax discipline or industry.
• Manages client service and ensures assignments are completed within budgeted time.
• Oversees larger tax returns and delegates work to tax preparers.
• Participates in client meetings and tax planning for large clients.
• Mentors tax staff and serves as a resource on tax issues.

AICPA membership in good standing
