Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a Tax Director for a well established regional CPA firm. The role offers a strong work-life balance, excellent benefits including large potential bonuses and a 5% employer contribution to your 401K, with a choice of SEC and closely held clients across diverse industries.

The Tax Director will lead technical reviews, supervise staff, participate in client meetings and tax planning, and drive practice development.

Formación

• Seven to ten years experience in public accounting with increasing tax complexity.
• At least two years representing clients before tax authorities.
• Minimum one year supervising and directing work of tax preparers.
• Forty hours of continuing education required each year.
• Current and valid CPA license required.
• Must be a member in good standing with the AICPA.

Responsabilidades

• Performs technical tax review and approval of all tax returns and governmental examinations of any complexity.
• Serves as a subject matter expert in discipline or industry.
• Oversees client service and ensures assignments are completed within budgeted time.
• Assumes responsibility for larger tax returns and delegates to staff as needed.
• Participates in client meetings and tax planning with larger clients.
• Acts as a resource for staff on tax issues and questions.
• Manages client relationships and communications with tax authorities as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of staff qualifications and performance.
