Talent Solutions Partners in Bremerton, WA is seeking a Tax Director to join a well‑established regional CPA firm offering strong work‑life balance, excellent benefits, and a fast track to Partnership.

You will review complex returns, supervise staff, lead tax planning for SEC and closely held clients, and represent clients before tax authorities. CPA license and 7–10 years in public accounting are required.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years experience in public accounting with growth in tax complexity and research.
• At least two years representing clients before taxing authorities.
• Minimum one year supervising tax preparers.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical tax review and approval of all tax returns and examinations.
• Serves as a subject matter expert in discipline or industry.
• Manages client service and ensures timely completion within budgeted time.
• Supervises larger tax returns and delegates to staff as needed.
• Leads tax planning efforts for larger clients with A&A department.
• Acts as a resource for staff on tax issues and questions.
• Maintains knowledge of staff qualifications and develops training needs.
• Oversees billing and collection processes.
• Keeps abreast of tax law changes affecting clients.
• Travels to client sites and attends meetings/seminars as needed.
