  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Tax Compliance and Reporting

  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy of quarterly and annual tax calculations, complying with local and international regulations.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and the Group finance reporting team to ensure accurate tax provisions, reporting, and compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
  • Collaborate with external tax service providers to ensure timely and accurate tax submissions while actively monitoring CITR compliance and leading corrective actions.

Strategic Tax Planning and Advisory

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the company’s tax position while minimizing risks and liabilities.
  • Provide guidance on corporate transactions, mergers & acquisitions, and cross-border operations to ensure tax efficiency.
  • Monitor global tax developments (e.g., BEPS, Pillar Two) and maintain compliance and competitiveness.
  • Contribute to tax-efficient financing structures, intercompany projects, and corporate planning to optimize the Group’s capital structure.
  • Plan and execute annual dividend distributions in line with tax regulations and business objectives.
  • Leverage tax technology solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in planning and compliance.
  • Communicate regulatory changes, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Tax Audits, Disputes, and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs)

  • Lead tax audits, coordinating with tax authorities, local finance teams, and external advisors to ensure efficient processes.
  • Oversee preparation of audit documentation, responses, and appeals to minimize disputes and adverse outcomes.
  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of tax disputes, including through MAPs.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary contact for direct tax matters for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Regularly inform senior leadership of tax opportunities, risks, and recommendations to support long-term planning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on key tax issues, ensuring risks are effectively managed.
  • Build and lead a high-performing global tax team, including recruitment, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

What you need to succeed:

  • 15+ years of experience, preferably a combination of Big 4 and consumer goods industry experience.
  • Corporate tax department experience is required; consulting experience is considered an advantage.
  • CPA or equivalent certification required.
  • Proven experience with international structures and managing global complexities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams and levels.
  • Exceptional prioritization and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to see the big picture and identify development opportunities.
  • Strong work ethic, accountability, and a results-driven attitude.
  • Resilience and adaptability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
