Orion Placement is seeking an experienced CPA to lead tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for individual and business clients. This role offers a pathway to leadership within a friendly, collaborative firm in High Point, NC.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of tax-focused experience, an active CPA license, and strong knowledge of federal and state taxation. Staff supervision experience is a plus, and candidates with 10+ years are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Enjoy working alongside a supportive team in our office, with limited remote flexibility during illness, hazardous weather, or outside normal business hours.

Note

An active CPA license and 5+ years of tax-focused experience are required. Candidates with 10+ years of experience are especially encouraged to apply. Staff management experience is a plus.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Staff supervision or management experience is a plus.
• Advanced tax education or certifications are a plus.
