Job summary

Orion Placement in High Point, NC is seeking a CPA with 5+ years of tax-focused experience to lead tax engagements for individuals and businesses. You will review complex federal and state returns, develop proactive tax strategies, and mentor a team of tax professionals.

As a trusted advisor, you will build lasting client relationships, oversee engagement quality, and collaborate with accounting colleagues to provide comprehensive tax planning and compliance services.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of progressive tax-focused experience.
• Experience in public accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of individual and business taxation.
• Experience reviewing complex tax returns and using tax software.
• Staff supervision or management experience is a plus.
• Advanced tax education or certifications are a plus.
