Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with key clients in the financial services industry
• Provide tax advisory services, including tax planning, structuring, and compliance
• Mitigate tax risks while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Keep up-to-date on changes in tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of updates
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Mentor the tax team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Provide guidance and training to staff on technical tax issues and professional development
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the financial services industry
• Run proposals, pitch to potential clients, and negotiate service agreements
• Improve the firm’s market presence through leadership, networking, and industry events

Requirements

• 10+ years of tax experience
• Public accounting background required
• Financial services industry knowledge
• Experience working with Private Equity and Hedge Funds
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
