Job summary

OneSource Virtual is seeking a Tax Data Specialist Lead to support the Tax Data Specialist team with queue management, escalation handling, and as a subject matter expert for tax data processes in payroll tax. You will guide daily workflows, review cases for quality, and help drive improvements across reports and customer interactions.

This role emphasizes multistate tax knowledge, strong communication, and proficiency in Excel and Power BI, with remote options and a focus on timely monthly,

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher; 3-5 years payroll tax experience required.
• Organized, detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication.
• Working knowledge of multistate tax jurisdictions and tax rules.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Queue management and workload balancing; back up teammates as needed.
• Escalation assistance for Sev 1 and 2 cases and QA review of cases.
• Review reopened cases to identify first-touch closure opportunities.
• Assist with PBI report reviews and resolution.
• Provide outstanding tax service support to OSV customers; meet deadlines.
• Share training, directions, and process improvements with the team.
• Develop relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure quality.
