Overview

Our client, the Dallas office of a premier AmLaw international law firm, is seeking associates in law school class years 2019 to 2025 to join their prestigious and growing tax practice.

Qualifications

In addition to a class-year appropriate understanding of technical aspects of tax law (including research and writing abilities), candidates should have relevant transactional tax experience. Relevant experience would include one or more of the following:

• Strategic and private equity M&A transactions
• Capital markets (including spin-offs and IPOs)
• Energy taxation (including oil and gas and/or energy transition)
• Investment fund formation
• Real estate (including REIT) matters

Candidates should have a strong academic record from a nationally respected law school and an equally impressive undergraduate degree, as well as large law firm experience. They should be desirous of and comfortable working in a team atmosphere.
