LHH is recruiting a senior transactional tax attorney to join its corporate practice as a partner. The role emphasizes leading expertise in tax structuring for acquisitions, dispositions, and other corporate transactions, with no required origination or billable hour pressures.

Locations include Dallas and Houston, with additional offices considered. This is a high-level partnership track role offering a fixed annual compensation of $500,000–$700,000 plus discretionary bonus.

A national law firm is seeking a senior transactional tax attorney to join its corporate practice as a partner. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced technical tax lawyer to step into partnership and support an established corporate/M&A practice.

The work:

Advise on the tax structuring of acquisitions, dispositions, and other corporate transactions; review purchase agreements, merger documents, and entity formation and governance documents; and serve as a senior tax resource for clients and the corporate team.

Ideal background:

• 12+ years of tax experience
• Substantial law firm experience advising on larger M&A transactions
• Transactional and C corporation tax expertise, along with partnership tax knowledge
• Strong academic credentials and the ability to independently advise clients on complex tax matters
• Licensed in the applicable jurisdiction or eligible for admission without examination
