Eden Housing, Inc. is seeking an Occupancy Specialist to support the Community Manager in maintaining compliance with HUD, Tax Credit and RHCP programs at our Santa Rosa properties. You will process applications, track recertifications, and coordinate inspections with housing authorities.

The role emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and resident/staff service. Prior property management experience and knowledge of YARDI or related software are a plus.

Qualifications

• One year of property management experience.
• Proficient processing Tax Credit and/or HUD files.
• HUD or CTCAC properties experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Process applicants for move-in following Eden’s policies and procedures.
• Track annual recertification dates and send letters 120 days prior.
• Interview households and verify income/assets.
• Complete annual recertification paperwork for auditor approval.
• Maintain waitlist and process applications per regulations.
• Coordinate housing authority inspections before move-in.
• Update internal waitlist tracker monthly.
• Ensure correct application of HUD/CHFA/RHCP/TCAC rules.
• Prepare project status reports and maintain records.
• Answer phones and manage office interactions professionally.
