Koch Business Solutions, LP is seeking a Tax Coordinator to support the Koch Capabilities tax team with administrative tasks, tax filings, payments, and deadlines. The role offers collaboration across Koch companies and opportunities to shape the position while contributing to timely tax processes.

The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, experience in AP/AR, and a proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process tax filings, payments, forms with deadlines for federal and state agencies.
• Track status updates to ensure completion of filings, refunds, payments and correspondence.
• Manage and research governmental notices and payment status.
• Coordinate and process accounts receivables and payables for tax team including invoices and payments.
• Ensure internal controls and standards are met.
• Assist with documentation and proper record keeping.
• Distribute incoming mail.
• Assist with various tax team projects.
• Record information accurately and securely.

Your Job

We are looking for a Tax Coordinator that has an aptitude for technology and who is excited about innovation! This role will provide general administrative support to the Koch Capabilities, LLC tax team members in a variety of functions including meeting deadlines for preparation and mailing of voluminous tax returns, tax payments and refunds as well as other administrative projects. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with different businesses with the ability for someone to make the role their own.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and process tax filings, payments, forms with various deadlines throughout the year for both federal and state agencies
• Track status updates to ensure completion of filings, refunds, payments and correspondence from various agencies
• Manage and research governmental notices and payment status in a timely manner
• Coordinate and process accounts receivables and payables for tax team including entering invoices for payment and tracking status of payments, managing matters and providing assistance when needed
• Ensure internal controls and standards are met
• Assist with documentation and proper record keeping
• Distribution of incoming mail
• Assist with various projects within the tax team
• Records information management

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Customer service and high-level administrative support experience
• Experience with accounts payable/receivables
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
• High level of personal integrity and ability to maintain confidential information
• Build working relationships and partner with others to bridge gaps and solve problems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365; (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint) and have a desire to learn and use new systems and tools

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in a tax department (accounting, legal, research, etc.)
• Experience working with AI and data visualization tools (Power BI, PowerApps, Tableau, or Alteryx)
• Experience working in PowerApps or SmartSheets
• Experience managing projects deadlines simultaneously
• Executive time management and sense of urgency
