Job summary

Koch Business Solutions, LP is seeking a Tax Analyst to join its growing tax team. This role provides hands-on experience supporting a diverse set of tax disciplines while developing foundational tax, accounting, and analytical skills.

Based in Wichita, KS and designed for students graduating December 2026 or May 2027, the position offers exposure to federal, state, and local tax activities and collaboration with experienced professionals across Koch companies.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in accounting/finance/economics degree program and expected to graduate December 2026 or May 2027.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Pursuing or interested in taxation, accounting, or finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax filings to support compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Assist with tax accounting and reporting activities, including quarterly and annual tax calculations.
• Analyze financial and operational data to support tax positions and business decision-making.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and business teams across Koch companies to understand business transactions and their tax implications.
• Research tax issues and assist in evaluating the impact of new tax laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain workpapers, documentation, and supporting analyses.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, leverage technology, and increase efficiency within the tax organization.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while communicating progress and results to team members and supervisors.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to build technical tax, business, and leadership capabilities.

What You Will Do

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Currently enrolled in an Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related business degree program and expected to graduate in December 2026 or May 2027
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
• Pursuing or interested in a career in taxation, accounting, or finance

• Internship, co-op, or other relevant experience in accounting, finance, tax, or audit
• Coursework in taxation, accounting, finance, or business analytics
