Responsibilities

• Evaluate tax planning strategies from federal legislation, regs, court cases, and market developments.
• Research technical positions, draft memos, and advise clients on federal tax matters.
• Engage with the IRS and prepare responses to audits, appeals, and collections.
• Conduct technical research and write memoranda supporting tax positions.
• Draft private letter ruling requests and proactive planning for future tax positions.
• Assist National Tax Office functions, including drafting tax alerts and planning topics.
