Job summary

The role requires preparing returns, supporting documentation, and collaborating with team on audits.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 1 year tax experience or a relevant advanced degree, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and tax software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 1 year of tax experience or a Masters in Accountancy/Tax degree required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; tax software experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and files sales/use and property tax returns.
• Prepares check requests, assembles returns for filings and performs other administrative tasks.
• Prepares city and county licenses.
• Prepares and timely completes, within budget, other tax projects as assigned.
• Meets position requirements and performs essential functions.
• This position must sit at our Home Office in Birmingham, AL.
