The North Carolina Department of Commerce invites qualified candidates for the Finance and Business Compliance Anlst II (NS). This full-time role conducts complex Employment Security audits across diverse employer types, ensuring compliance with state and federal tax laws.

The position requires field interviews, document requests, and the issuance of subpoenas as needed. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fields, and strong knowledge of ES Law, auditing

Formación

• Requires working knowledge of Employment Security Law and related regulations.
• Ability to interpret complex laws and apply them to employer audits.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and auditing software; ability to adapt to specialized software.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct audits of employers across various structures and industries to determine compliance with Employment Security Laws.
• Perform field interviews with employers, employees, attorneys, and third parties.
• Issue Subpoenas and collect records to complete audit findings and opinions.
• Prepare audit opinions used in discussions with management and for enforcement actions.
