Zusammenfassung

Housing Trust Group (HTG) seeks a Tax & Audit Manager to oversee partnership and corporate tax compliance, annual audits, and related assignments. You will act as the primary liaison with external CPA firms, and lenders, managing deadlines across multiple entity returns and cost-certifications.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with Development and Construction, and ensure accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced real estate environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5–10 years of progressive experience in tax compliance and audits, real estate preferred.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Experience with LIHTC partnerships, IRS Form 8609, and K-1 preparation is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with FHFC cost certification processes and Florida affordable-housing regulations is a plus.
• Experience coordinating with external audit firms on partnership audits.
• Exposure to HUD or public housing authorities helpful but not required.

• Manage annual audits and tax returns cycle for all HTG entities with outside CPA firms.
• Track extension filing deadlines across partnership and corporate returns.
• Review draft tax returns for entities overseen by Corporate Department.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
• Oversee cost Certification audits and FHFC relations.
• Collaborate with Development/Construction to gather cost data and budgets.
• Maintain organized electronic files in SharePoint.
• Mentor Senior Accountants and Staff in technical areas.
