Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP is seeking Tax/Audit Interns to support Chicago, Oak Brook, IL and Schererville, IN locations. You will assist with tax return preparation and audit work while gaining exposure to client engagements.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, aiming for CPA eligibility, with strong MS Office skills and willingness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Credit requirements to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
• Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.
