Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) is seeking Tax and Audit Interns for our Champaign, Bloomington, and Peoria offices. This internship provides exposure to tax returns, audits, and client engagements, with a focus on learning and professional growth.

Interns assist with filings, research, and collaboration with colleagues, while developing accounting knowledge and preparing for CPA eligibility. On-site opportunities are available across multiple Illinois locations.

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA exam eligibility per state requirements.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and processes; travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Gains experience with procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and training.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients andCLA family members regularly.
