Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP in Bethlehem, PA seeks Tax/Audit Interns to support tax returns and assurance services for diverse clients. The role offers hands-on experience across tax and audit disciplines, alongside exposure to client engagements and CLA training opportunities.

Applicants should be pursuing a bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, with CPA exam credit requirements in view. Proficiency in MS Windows and Office is expected, with reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client

Qualifications

Working toward a bachelor’s degree; Accounting or Finance preferred.
Credit requirements to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
General knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
Willingness to learn new technologies.
Proficient with MS Windows and Office products.

Responsibilities

Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients and formal training opportunities.
Completes research and special projects as needed.
Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.
