Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen invites driven students to join our Tax/Audit Internship in Wisconsin. This role provides hands-on experience across tax returns, audits, and assurance services while supporting multiple client engagements under guidance.

You will gain familiarity with procedures, workpapers, and firm systems. We seek candidates progressing toward a bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, aiming to sit for the CPA exam, with strong accounting knowledge and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Support multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Gain experience and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Expand industry knowledge through peer, client, and training exposure.
• Complete research and special projects as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients and CLA family members regularly.
