Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) in St. Louis, MO, and O'Fallon, IL, seeks Tax/Audit Interns to support tax return preparation and audit services. You will gain hands-on experience across client engagements while developing proficiency in accounting procedures and firm systems.

The role targets students pursuing a bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance with CPA eligibility, offering exposure to multiple service lines in a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in bachelor’s program in Accounting or Finance with CPA exam eligibility.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.
• Assist in audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gain experience with procedures, workpapers, and firm systems.
• Support multiple client engagements within time and budget and communicate progress.
• Expand industry knowledge through training and peer exposure.
• Complete research and special projects as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients and CLA team members.
