Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) in Minnesota seeks Tax/Audit Interns for St Cloud, Brainard, Monticello and Alexandria locations. This full-time internship requires 40 hours per week and exposes you to preparing tax returns, audits, and related assurance work across client engagements.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s in accounting or finance with CPA exam eligibility, possess strong MS Office skills, and are willing to travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Working towards a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience and knowledge of procedures, workpapers, and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget.
• Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers and formal training.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members.
