CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) Akron/Canton Ohio locations are seeking Tax/Audit Interns. The role provides exposure to tax returns and audit services while you advance toward CPA eligibility.

You will gain hands-on experience, work with diverse client engagements, and participate in formal training opportunities. Qualified students should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, aiming to sit for the CPA exam, and be willing to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• Credit requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state rules.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget.
• Expands industry knowledge through training and client exposure.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA members regularly.
