Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) in Akron and Canton, Ohio is seeking Tax/Audit Interns to support client engagements and gain hands-on experience in tax returns and assurance services. You are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, plan to sit for the CPA exam, and are willing to travel to client sites while ranking reliability and learning new technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; CPA eligibility pursued.
CPA exam eligibility per state requirements.

Responsibilities

Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
Completes research and special projects as needed.
Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.
