Job summary

CLA in Minnesota is seeking Tax/Audit Interns for locations including St. Cloud, Monticello, Brainerd and Alexandria. You’ll gain hands-on exposure by preparing tax returns and assisting with audits, reviews and compilations while supporting multiple client engagements.

The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and client communication within a collaborative CLA environment. Minimum qualifications include pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and eligibility to sit for the CPA exam

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA exam credits are a plus.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience with procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget.
• Expands industry knowledge through peers, clients and training.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates with clients and CLA team members regularly.
