Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking Tax/Audit Interns for our St Cloud, Brainard, Monticello, and Alexandria, MN offices. This full‑time internship offers hands-on experience across tax returns, audits, and client engagements.

Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s in accounting or finance and working toward CPA eligibility. You will collaborate with CLA teams, learn procedures, and contribute to client services while developing professional skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance; CPA eligibility pursued per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience with procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members regularly.
