Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) in Minnesota seeks Tax/Audit Interns for St Cloud, Monticello, Brainerd, and Alexandria. Interns will prepare tax returns and assist with audits, reviews and other assurance services while gaining exposure to procedures, workpapers and systems.

The program emphasizes collaboration and learning, with opportunities to work across client engagements and industries, and pathways toward CPA eligibility and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.
