Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) in Washington state is seeking Tax/Audit Associates to join our Spokane, Moses Lake, Wenatchee, Tri Cities, and Yakima offices. You will prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships, and support audit and assurance engagements focused on delivering quality work for clients.

Describe your degree in accounting or finance, CPA exam eligibility, and readiness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members regularly.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required – Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

The compensation range for this position in Washington is: $67,000 - $91,000 ($29.13 - $39.57 per hour).
