Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking Tax/Audit Associates to join our Spokane, Moses Lake, Wenatchee, Tri Cities & Yakima offices. You’ll prepare tax returns, assist with audits, and gain exposure to diverse client engagements across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with MS Windows and MS Office.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Expands industry knowledge, through greater exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.

The compensation range for this position in Washington is: $67,000 - $91,000 ($29.13 - $39.57 per hour).
