Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking Tax/Audit Associates for our Providence, RI office. This role focuses on preparing tax returns, executing audit and assurance tasks, and gaining practical experience across client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA exam eligibility preferred.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and training opportunities.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members regularly.
