Job summary

CLA's Providence, RI office is seeking Tax/Audit Associates to support tax returns and assurance services for a diverse client base. The role offers exposure to multiple engagements, learning opportunities, and collaboration across teams.

We provide ongoing training, pathways to CPA advancement, and a supportive environment focused on integrity, client service, and professional growth within a national firm with a local presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA exam eligibility preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience with procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and training.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members regularly.
