Travel to client sites and ongoing professional development are expected as part of the role. The position emphasizes learning, collaboration, and delivering high-quality work within budgets, with opportunities to grow in tax and audit specialties within the CLA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA eligibility preferred.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows environments.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
• Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gain experience and knowledge of procedures, workpapers, and systems.
• Support multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expand industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training.
• Complete research and special projects as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients and CLA family members regularly.
