Job summary

Pinion is seeking an Accounting Associate to deliver tax and audit services to diverse clients, partnering with business owners to support growth. You will collaborate with a team to apply technical accounting skills across projects and deliverables, while pursuing your professional interests with firm mentorship.

Successful candidates are strong communicators, critical thinkers, digitally fluent, and ready to work in an in-office environment in Montana. CPA eligibility is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting (or related field).
• GPA of 3.0 or higher in major and overall.
• Hours: 2,300 hours annually, with overtime during busy season.
• Location: Fully in office.
• Travel: 10-15% overnight travel throughout the year.
• Employment Eligibility: Not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients and provide leading-edge accounting and consulting services.
• Provide accounting services to internal and external clients in tax and assurance.
• Collaborate with colleagues on a range of projects and client opportunities.
• Work with the project manager to meet scope and exceed expectations.
• Identify trends in client information and financials and raise issues to supervision.
