Job summary

Pinion is seeking an Accounting Associate to deliver tax and audit services to diverse clients, partnering with progressive business owners and decision makers to grow their firms. You will build relationships, provide accounting services, and collaborate with a talented team on a range of projects.

The role is fully in office in Montana, with 10–15% overnight travel and a competitive benefits package. You will receive mentorship, pursue CPA certification, and enjoy a culture that values

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting (or related field).
• GPA: Must be 3.0 or higher in major and overall.
• Hours: Available to work an average of 2,300 hours annually (busy season overtime).
• Location: Fully in office.
• Travel: 10-15% overnight travel throughout the year.

• Provide accounting services to internal and external clients in both tax and assurance.

• Identify trends and patterns in client information and financials, recognizing potential problems and bringing them to the supervisor's attention.

What you’ll need for this position:

• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting (or related field).
• GPA: Must be 3.0 or higher in major and overall.
• Hours: Available to work an average of 2,300 hours annually, which accounts for overtime during the ebbs and flows of busy season.
• Location: Fully in office.
• Travel: Varies by group and location. Expect 10-15% overnight travel throughout the year as a new associate.
• Employment Eligibility: This role is not eligible for sponsorship.

Compensation:

In some states and municipalities, Pinion is required by law to include a reasonable estimate for range of compensation. When making compensation decisions, Pinion takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location. The wide range for this role reasonably accounts for these factors. Specific compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $69,000 to $73,000.
