Job summary

Pinion invites you to join a paid accounting internship in an office-based environment, with exposure to tax and audit workflows and mentorship from seasoned professionals. You will engage in client work, develop practical skills, and participate in professional meetings while balancing coursework and internship commitments.

Applicants should be pursuing an accounting degree or certificate with strong academic performance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting (or related field) or enrolled in an Accounting certificate program.
• GPA 3.0 or higher in major and overall.
• Hours: 24 hours per week (part-time) or 40 hours per week (full-time).
• Location: Fully in the office.
• Employment eligibility: This role is not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Assist with financial statement preparation, audits, general accounting, and special projects.
• Apply academic knowledge to real client work while managing priorities and deadlines.
• Participate in client meetings and collaborate with professionals across multiple levels of the firm.
• Utilize technology and data tools to deliver accurate, efficient results.
• Build lasting relationships with fellow interns, mentors, and firm leaders.
