We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global law firm known for its strength in complex cross‑border work, including high‑end corporate and finance matters, and its commitment to seamless client service and innovation.
We are assisting their search for a mid‑level associate with 3–5 years of transactional tax experience to support sophisticated corporate, partnership, and investment‑related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate tax components of M&A agreements, joint venture/partnership agreements, and other transactional documents.
- Provide tax guidance on transactions involving diverse asset classes, financing arrangements, and investment structures.
- Advise U.S. and international clients on tax‑efficient investment strategies and cross‑border considerations.
- Engage directly with clients and help manage active deals throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree required for a top tier law school with excellent academic credentials
- Must be admitted to the bar—and in good standing—in the jurisdiction where you will practice (Dallas or New York) or easily able to become barred in that jurisdiction.
- Prior experience in transactional tax, including exposure to M&A, joint ventures, partnerships, capital markets, or financial products.
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tax concepts to diverse audiences.
