Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or 150 credits to meet CPA license requirements.
• 1–3 years of public accounting experience.
• GPA 3.25 or higher.
• Understanding of fundamental principles of tax law and IRS regulations.
• Experience with tax preparation software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns for various entity types
• Respond to IRS inquiries and other taxing authorities
• Research and consult on various tax projects
• Research tax matters
• Keep engagement status informed to in-charge/manager
• Respond to clients in a timely manner and maintain relationships
• Maintain confidentiality at all times
• Assist in recruitment of new and experienced associates
• Other duties as assigned
