Job summary

SSC Advisors, Inc. is seeking a Tax Associate to join our Oklahoma team. The role focuses on tax return preparation and/or review, handling IRS/state notices, and preparing estimated tax calculations with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timely filings.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA/EA preferred, and 3–4 years of tax experience in public accounting. Strong QuickBooks and Thomson Reuters UltraTax/Accounting CS knowledge are desirable and a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA or EA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or review tax returns per qualifications.
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices.
• Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations.
• Complete state and local tax filings.
• Ensure returns are accurate and filed timely.
• Communicate with clients to request information and answer questions.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Manage multiple engagements and deadlines during tax season.
