H&R Block, Inc. is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to help clients with tax information, return preparation, and questions at a local office. No prior tax experience is required, as training and support are provided from day one.

You will meet clients, collect data, and deliver accurate tax returns while building client relationships. The role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office with a competitive hourly rate, and opportunities to increase earnings as knowledge grows during peak

Formación

• Successful completion of the HR Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent

Responsabilidades

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
