H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to join a local tax office in person. No prior tax experience is required, as comprehensive training and mentorship are provided from day one.

You will meet with clients, collect information, prepare returns, and explain tax details clearly while identifying potential tax savings and offering relevant products and services. Flexible hours accommodate peak periods and teamwork is emphasized.

Formación

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or equivalent training.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
