Job summary

Magnit Global is seeking a Tax Associate in the United States to serve as the front-office face of the engagement, guiding customers and validating returns prepared by the back office before they go out the door. This role emphasizes customer service, advisory skills, and precise writing; you may sign and file work you did not personally prepare and use TurboTax tools to explain tax outcomes to clients.

Qualifications

• Must reside and work within the United States.
• Minimum two seasons of paid tax preparation experience, with at least 30 completed returns per season.
• Strong written communication and ability to produce clear handoff notes (Notes to Preparer).
• Valid PTIN for the 2027 filing year.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact across the engagement.
• Conduct signer review of returns prepared by the back office.
• Produce clear, structured Notes to Preparer documentation.
• Communicate tax outcomes to customers using TurboTax tools.
• Assist customers with product and software inquiries.
• Create high-quality customer interactions and build confidence.
• Research using government resources and professional tools to provide accurate answers.
• Support the success of front office, back office, and quality review teams.
• Apply procedures to troubleshoot tax questions.
• Document all customer interactions per company standards.
• Aim to meet or exceed KPIs for quality, efficiency, and satisfaction.
