Job summary

Andersen Tax LLC is seeking a Tax Services Associate to join client service teams, receiving formal and on-the-job training to develop technical skills. You will assist in tax return preparation, tax planning, and client consultations as part of a collaborative problem-solving group.

Responsibilities include researching tax laws, participating in tax compliance, and supporting projects with independent initiative while maintaining professional skepticism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; GPA minimum of 3.0.
• Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with initiative to seek opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact with client and firm management.

Responsibilities

• Research tax laws, rules, and regulations and draft memorandums explaining decisions and solutions.
• Participate in select phases of tax compliance engagements.
• Proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback.
• Support projects showing initiative while working as a team member.
• Demonstrate flexibility prioritizing and completing tasks with professional skepticism.
