Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for a Tax Associate Attorney with a leading Am Law 50 firm in Chicago.

This role offers exposure to sophisticated transactional tax work, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and international tax, with a hybrid Chicago schedule.

Ideal candidates will have 2–6 years of tax experience, strong drafting and client-relations skills, and a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school; LL.M. in Taxation preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of tax experience.
• Experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, international transactions, or a combination of these areas.
• Experience providing tax guidance in connection with sophisticated corporate transactions.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent and ongoing matters.
• High level of motivation, initiative, and problem-solving ability.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, and organizational skills.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• LL.M. in Taxation preferred, but not required.

Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for a Tax Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 50 firm in Chicago.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with sophisticated transactional tax experience to work on complex matters involving mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and international transactions.

Ideal Background

• 2–6 years of tax experience
• Experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, international transactions, or a combination of these areas
• Experience providing tax guidance in connection with sophisticated corporate transactions
• Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent and ongoing matters

• Strong client relationship and communication skills
• Excellent analytical, drafting, and organizational skills
• High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
• LL.M. in Taxation preferred, but not required
