Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of tax compliance experience, ideally within an investment management, hedge fund, or public accounting environment.
  • Experience supporting U.S. federal, state and local, and international tax compliance for partnerships, corporations, and investment funds.
  • Experience with partnership taxation, investor reporting (Schedule K-1), PFIC reporting, FATCA/CRS, and U.S. withholding tax requirements (Forms 1042/1042-S).

Responsibilities

  • Support tax compliance and reporting for multiple fund entities, including partnerships, corporations, and offshore structures.
  • Coordinate preparation and timely filing of federal, state and local, international, and indirect tax filings with external tax advisors.
  • Review investor tax reporting, including Schedule K-1s, PFIC reporting, FATCA/CRS compliance, and other tax-related reporting obligations.
  • Review tax documentation and information reporting forms, including Forms W-8, W-9, 1099, FATCA/CRS self-certifications, and GIIN registrations.
  • Coordinate monthly U.S. withholding tax rates with fund administrators and prime brokers.
  • Maintain tax workpapers, supporting documentation, and filing records to ensure audit readiness.
  • Research tax law changes, respond to tax notices, and assess impacts on fund structures and investor reporting.
  • Support tax technology initiatives and identify opportunities to improve tax processes and reporting.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and external service providers on tax compliance obligations.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support tax compliance and reporting for multiple fund entities, including partnerships, corporations, and offshore structures.
  • Coordinate the preparation and timely filing of federal, state and local, international, and indirect tax filings with external tax advisors.
  • Review investor tax reporting, including Schedule K-1s, PFIC reporting, FATCA/CRS compliance, and other tax-related reporting obligations.

Compensation:

Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 + Plus Bonus
